I’ve been fighting with my blog for about a month, trying to figure out why my input areas were all matching the background of the page. Basically, there were no borders, just off-white sections that appeared to be just the background of my browser window that would accept input, but didn’t actually define themselves. I could click and see my cursor, but forget tryin’ to tell where I actually was.
Well, it turns out that a gremlin (namely my child) upped the brightness on my monitor so that the elements were washed out. Joy of flippin’ joys. Having to physically remove the buttons is not an option, so I guess that means I will have to forcibly remove the boy’s fingers. As unpleasant as this sounds, it is much more unpleasant to live in constant doubt of whether you are slowly going insane because you spend too much time in front of a computer. Just sayin’….
